A team day in London rarely starts with the question of a graffiti workshop, more often with the search for something that gets people out of the meeting room. We bring graffiti on canvas or action painting into your own space, in the City, in Canary Wharf, around King's Cross or anywhere else in town. Paint, materials and guidance travel with us, no fixed venue needed. Indoors, the weather stops being a question.

Formats in London

Three ways to get creative in London

Pick a format: graffiti or action painting on canvas straight in your own space, or an app-guided street art tour through the city. We bring the paint, materials and crew to any of the three.

Graffiti

Graffiti on canvas brings the full spraying technique straight into an office, a courtyard or a hall. It works regardless of weather or wall availability, and nobody has to clear a wall for it. Wall spraying in London is legal only on permitted surfaces, such as the tunnel at Leake Street under Waterloo Station: eight former railway arches, covered and weatherproof, a few minutes' walk from Waterloo Station. Any organised activity there needs the operator's approval first, plus an enquiry form with a processing time of up to five working days. We check case by case whether a wall suits your date. By default we plan with the canvas version in your own space. It needs none of that lead time and still delivers the same spraying technique as the wall.

GKMBotanikum greenhouse, Munich

GKM moved their summer day to the Botanikum in Munich, into the large greenhouse with its grass floor. The work happened barefoot, with action painting and graffiti running side by side. What came out of it were individual graffiti pieces at 50×70 and five larger works, one per department, which hang in the office today as decoration.

How it runs

How a team event in London runs for you

We talk little and get to work early. We barely interfere with your pieces. The result should come from your hand, not ours.

01You send the enquiry

Send us the number of people and your preferred date. A first quote needs no more than that.

02We settle the location

Legal spraying on a wall in London is tied to individual surfaces that require permission, such as the tunnel at Leake Street under Waterloo Station. As a default we plan with the canvas version in your own space. We check a wall option separately on request.

03We arrive with everything

Crew, paint, cans, protective material and gloves come with us. There is nothing on your shopping list.

04You split into teams

Large groups work in small teams in parallel, each at its own surface, instead of taking turns at the same wall.

05What stays with you

You take your canvases with you at the end, into the office or home. Whatever comes out of your date stays with you.

The decision you have to make

Action painting or graffiti?

If you take graffiti

On canvas a piece comes about that you take with you, and the date runs independently of weather and wall availability. If you want a wall instead, the Leake Street tunnel is the main option in London, but only with the operator's prior permission there.

“28 colleagues aged between 20 and 60, and all of us completely clueless. In the end we were really proud of ourselves. As a keepsake, Luca gave us photos taken with the drone.”

“What surprised me was that you don't have to be an artist, because everyone gets individual attention and is encouraged to try things out. By the end we had created a great artwork and had a big grin on our faces.”

A team event in London starts at £89.30 per person net, and small groups pay £145.80. Where can you spray legally in London?

The best-known spot is the Leake Street tunnel under Waterloo Station, but only with the operator's prior permission.

Spraying is not allowed everywhere in London. The best-known legal spot is the Leake Street tunnel under Waterloo Station, eight former railway arches, covered and therefore weatherproof. It is run by Platform4, Network Rail's property development company. Any organised activity there needs the operator's approval beforehand, and that applies equally to private and commercial plans. Shoreditch and Brick Lane are known as London's leading street art district, but the walls there are mostly private property, meant for looking, not for spraying without the owner's consent. For team events, we work in London by default with the canvas version. Same spraying technique, plannable regardless of weather or permit status, brought into your own space or a hall of your choice. Tell us at the enquiry whether a wall option matters to you, and we check that for your date.

What do you do in London in bad weather?

Bad weather does not cancel a date in London, it only decides the format.

London has around 106 to 112 rainy days a year on average, and even in July, the driest month, an average of 6 to 8 rainy days remain. Graffiti at a wall is an outdoor format in London anyway, subject to a permit, because legal spraying is tied to fixed, open-air surfaces such as the Leake Street tunnel. The same spraying technique works just as well on canvas indoors as outdoors, and action painting runs outdoors just as well as indoors. For a team event in London that means: tell us at the enquiry whether your date needs to be weatherproof. If you need certainty, we pick the canvas or action painting version in your own space from the start. An office, a daylit studio or a hall is enough. We bring materials, protective covers and guidance either way, whether the work happens indoors or outdoors.

Frequently asked questions, team events in London

How many people can take part?
Graffiti carries a range of 10 to 1,000 participants, action painting 15 to 500. A smaller team is welcome too, billed at the rate of the 15-person starting group. Give us the number as precisely as you can at the enquiry.
How long does a workshop take?
Two to three hours, depending on format and group size. The block fits into a seminar day in London as the afternoon part.
What does a team event in London cost?
Graffiti and action painting both cost from £89.30 per person net, small groups pay £145.80. Materials, guidance, and set-up and take-down sit inside the price. All prices net, plus statutory VAT.
Where can you spray legally in London?
The best-known spot is the Leake Street tunnel under Waterloo Station, run by Platform4. Any organised activity there needs the operator's approval beforehand, regardless of who runs it.
Can you hold a company event in the Leake Street tunnel?
Any organised activity there needs the operator Platform4's approval beforehand, obtained via an enquiry form with a processing time of up to five working days. Whether and in what form that is possible for a given date is something the operator decides case by case.
Can you spray legally in Shoreditch?
No. Shoreditch and Brick Lane are London's leading street art district, but the walls there are mostly private property. You look at the art there, you don't spray without the owner's consent.
Are there indoor studios in London for company groups?
Yes, London has several studios with ventilated rooms for spray work, for example in Shoreditch or in the east of the city. Usually, though, we bring the setup straight into your own space, which saves you the rental.
How do you get to London with materials without your own vehicle?
There are direct flights from Hamburg to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, all with a rail connection into the centre in 15 to 50 minutes. Parking is not allowed at Leake Street itself, so materials travel by train rather than by car.
Where are the companies that book a team event in London based?
London has several office clusters where we can bring paint and materials to your own space: the City of London with finance, banking and law, Canary Wharf with capital markets and corporate headquarters, and King's Cross with tech and media companies.
Why do we plan many London dates indoors?
London has rain roughly every third day on average, 106 to 112 days a year, and even in the driest month 6 to 8 rainy days remain. That is why we plan most London dates with the weatherproof canvas version.

How does cancellation work?
