Eleven Berlin cases where the run is on record, from Paint the Bus at the Wellenwerk to a summer party with parallel stations.

wefox Summer event · Treptower Park

wefox held a large summer event at the Zenner venue right on Treptower Park, looking out over the lake. Live graffiti ran on a huge mobile wall built for the day, with small canvases on easels for anyone who preferred to work sitting down. For planning purposes: a summer event with a view over the water can be equipped with a mobile wall, without tying you to a fixed venue.

Bring Paint the Bus · Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg

Bring had a whole coach painted at the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg, along with small individual artworks that participants could take home, 25 people in total. The client produced their own video content for social media from the day, so the focus sat on a shareable digital result rather than the finished coach alone. For planning purposes: a Paint the Bus date gives you usable footage, not just an object.

Samsung Mini trade fair · Wellenwerk Berlin

Samsung used the Wellenwerk Berlin for a mini trade fair with a long list of exhibitors, so the Paint the Bus area got its own tent for weather cover. What came out of it were very detailed artworks, right up to a large mural, despite the bustle of the fair around it. For planning purposes: a Paint the Bus programme fits inside a large trade fair, as long as weather cover is planned in from the start.

Lingoda Summer party · Wellenwerk Berlin

Lingoda threw a summer party at the Wellenwerk Berlin with several action painting and graffiti stations running at once, plus an open bar and music. Instead of one format there were parallel stations, which gave the evening a come-together feel rather than a single item on the agenda. For planning purposes: several stations can run inside a summer party programme, so guests never have to commit to one format.

eBay eBay Open · Berlin

For eBay resellers and sellers the event was laid out like a trade fair, in a large white hall in Berlin. Guests could leave their mark on a shared canvas while sprayed motifs went up on further surfaces. The exact district has not been confirmed so far, which is why it is deliberately left out here.

T-Mobile Robotics Paint the Bus · Wellenwerk Berlin

T-Mobile Robotics ran the very first Paint the Bus at the Wellenwerk Berlin, as a closing team event. The coach did not get an arbitrary pattern. It got the robot dog the team had designed themselves, so their own product became the motif. For planning purposes: if your team has built something of its own, that is what can go on the vehicle, instead of borrowing someone else's motif.

German Dairy Industry Association Graffiti workshop · Wellenwerk Berlin

The annual conference of the German Dairy Industry Association included a cultural programme, and for it the association spent an afternoon at the Wellenwerk Berlin picking up spray cans themselves. Everyone worked under the Milk Buzz motto, so the association's own subject became the picture. For planning purposes: an association programme with conference guests works as a graffiti workshop too, not just a company team event.

Shiftmove Paint the Bus · team event

Shiftmove arrived to find the coach ready: outlines pre-sprayed, gloves and overshoes laid out. The team filled the surfaces in shirts and chinos, without changing clothes. For planning purposes: a Paint the Bus date needs no preparation from your team, the surface is standing there ready.

BVG Paint the Bus · team event

For the BVG date the coach was prepared: edges masked off, outlines pre-sprayed. The team filled the surfaces in shirts and chinos, wearing overshoes rather than overalls. For planning purposes: the guide team does the groundwork, so participants start spraying straight away.

Porsche Digital Team event · Mauerpark

For Porsche Digital the picture was split into colour fields, one per small group, all inside a single black frame. A continuous line ties the fields together, painted at the legal wall in the Mauerpark. For planning purposes: the frame is what makes many hands read as one work.

The decision you have to make

Action painting or graffiti?

Graffiti workshop

Always outdoors (wall), 10 to 1,000 participants, suits large teams and outdoor spaces like the one at the Wellenwerk Berlin.

Always outdoors 10 to 1,000 participants

In Berlin the format question matters most to offices without outdoor access of their own. Those teams plan more reliably with action painting, indoors and independent of the weather. Teams with access to a space like the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg can run graffiti outdoors in a large group. Both formats work on the same guide principle: everyone starts from zero.

Milchindustrie-Verband e. V. · Google review, Berlin · 5 out of 5 stars · written in German in our Google profile, quoted here as it stands

Thanks to Brain2Canvas, we had a super cool team event! Everyone was thrilled and had a blast. It was something completely different. We were given a fantastic introduction to the art of graffiti, got to experiment, received lots of tips and tricks, designed and sprayed our own logo, and achieved an amazing result. We also had a great location in Berlin, and the Brain2Canvas team was incredibly cool. We can wholeheartedly recommend them.

What does an action painting workshop cost for our team in Berlin?

A team event with Brain2Canvas in Berlin starts at €79 per person net, staggered by group size: €129 for small teams, coming down to €79 for larger groups, in each case excluding VAT for B2B customers. The price covers guide, materials and set-up in full, and travel plus material transport are included in every Berlin district at no extra cost, whether the date runs at the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg, in Kreuzberg or at another location in the city. You can choose the graffiti workshop from 10 people and action painting from 15 people, plus the app-guided street art tour from €35 per person for smaller groups without a guide on site. Payment runs in advance by invoice or straight through the booking route, both clearly settled, with no hidden items. Workshops also run fully in English on request, at no surcharge, which helps international teams with Berlin-based and international colleagues in the room.

Does the graffiti or action painting workshop come to Kreuzberg or to our Berlin location?

In Berlin we come to any location in the city, Kreuzberg included. Travel and materials are always in the price, whatever the district. One place we use repeatedly is the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg, where several teams have already worked together, among them a full Paint the Bus date with 25 people. The Wellenwerk is a partner location we use regularly, not an exclusive site we work at alone: the same rule applies to Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg or any other district, and we bring the wall, the canvas or the app-guided street art tour straight to your location. If you want a fixed venue, the Wellenwerk is the one to plan around; if you would rather work in your own office or on your own space, you get the same support, the same run and the same price. So the district question does not decide whether it is feasible, only how far we travel, and that is always priced in.

What is the difference between a graffiti workshop and action painting in Berlin?

A graffiti workshop and action painting differ above all in the surface and the location. Graffiti always happens on a wall, with cans and stencils, which is why it is always outdoors, whether on a mobile wall or a fixed surface like the one at the Wellenwerk Berlin. Action painting uses paint on canvas instead of a can on a wall, and it works inside or outside, which makes it the option for Berlin offices without an outdoor wall of their own or for dates in poor weather. Group sizes differ as well: graffiti is bookable from 10 people up to 1,000, action painting from 15 up to 500. If you want a large, visible shared surface and have access to a wall, choose graffiti; if you have to plan independently of the weather or are using an indoor space, choose action painting. Both formats work on the same guide principle: nobody needs prior experience, everyone starts at the same point.

We come to these cities too

Beyond Berlin we work in 59 cities across Germany. If you have teams at several sites, you can book the same format everywhere.

Common questions about team events in Berlin

Do you offer action painting in Berlin as well?
Yes, action painting is bookable across Germany, Berlin included, from 15 people up to 500. We bring canvas, paint and guide straight to your location, whether that is the office or another venue.
Do you come to Kreuzberg?
Yes, we come to every Berlin district, Kreuzberg included, and travel plus materials are always in the price. One partner location of ours is the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg, though it is not an exclusive site. The district question only decides how far we travel, not whether it is feasible.
What is Paint the Bus at the Wellenwerk Berlin?
In the Paint the Bus format your team paints a whole coach together, plus small artworks to take home. Bring ran it with 25 people at the Wellenwerk Berlin-Lichtenberg, including a social video of their own. That turns the date into a result that stays visible online beyond the day itself.
Are graffiti workshops for teams in Berlin available at short notice or nearby?
Short notice from 48 hours' lead time is possible, and one to two weeks is ideal. We come to your Berlin location, whether it sits centrally or a little further out. That applies to the graffiti workshop and action painting alike, whatever the group size.
From how many people can I book a team event in Berlin?
Graffiti workshops start at 10 people, action painting at 15. The absolute lower limit is 9 to 10 people, and we usually turn down smaller requests because the format does not pay off at that size. From there you can request your date directly, though there is no instant booking.
What does a team event in Berlin cost per person?
From €79 net per person, staggered by group size up to €129 for small teams, with travel and materials always included and no hidden extras. Payment runs in advance by invoice or straight through the booking route, both clearly settled.
Does the workshop run in English as well?
Yes, very often, for mixed international teams, at no surcharge. It is a frequently booked format for Berlin companies with international teams. The guide then runs the entire workshop in English, from the welcome through to the end.
What if it rains?
Graffiti on a wall is a pure outdoor format, so in rain we either move to action painting indoors or postpone, usually to a fallback venue we already know. That keeps the date plannable in poor weather, without you having to organise an alternative yourself.
How much lead time do I need for the booking?
One to two weeks is ideal, large groups included. In individual cases we have delivered dates on 48 hours' notice. The earlier the participant count and preferred date are settled, the easier it is to organise the right space.
Do I have to sort out permits for the wall?
No. Brain2Canvas arranges every permit for legal walls in full, so you do not have to apply for anything or clarify anything yourself. That covers mobile walls at your own location too, not just fixed venues like the Wellenwerk.
Can I cancel if the date no longer works?
Free of charge up to 30 days before the date, after that the full amount is due, so please plan early enough. This deadline applies whichever format you choose, whether graffiti workshop, action painting or street art tour.
How large a group does the format suit?
Graffiti up to 1,000 people, action painting up to 500. Even very large groups, like the ones at our Wellenwerk dates in Berlin, work well. We settle in the request at what size several small groups or stations start to pay off.
What makes the Berlin street art tour different from graffiti or action painting?
On the street art tour nobody paints. Instead your team discovers existing street art along an app-guided route, flexibly and in small groups, from €35 per person. There is no guide on site, the app takes you through the route.
