Company Christmas party Frankfurt: programme, not just a venue

The venue for the Christmas party is booked, the restaurant is reserved, the DJ is on standby — and there's still a hole in the running order: what happens between the welcome drink and the main course to turn a dinner into a team event? That's the exact gap we see at Frankfurt companies every late autumn. The search is rarely still about the hall — it's about the programme's core.

Our own enquiries for the year-end also arrive in a bunch, usually with short notice. If you only realise in November that the nicely booked venue offers little programme for the evening itself, you still have options, as long as the format doesn't need a long planning runway. What a creative workshop actually does for the evening

1. It fills the middle of the evening without turning into a stage show. No host, no script, no speech someone from the team has to give. At Deutsche Bahn, action painting and street art ran in parallel at their Frankfurt headquarters, with a film about Banksy playing in the background, active for three hours, without anyone from the team taking on the role of entertainer (DB case).
2. It brings together teams who otherwise only see each other in meetings. At SuedLink, a 60-person group split into outdoor stencils and graffiti on canvases plus a prepared joint artwork indoors, guided by two facilitators, nobody had to lead it themselves (SuedLink case). That's exactly the objection event organisers raise most often with us — that they don't want to end up moderating the programme themselves — solved here because our guides lead it.
3. It docks into your venue instead of needing its own. At 360T, a 50-metre 3D piece took shape at the Ratswegkreisel with 50 participants, including A3 take-home papers as keepsakes (360T case). The format travels to wherever your Christmas party already happens: office, hall, or rented restaurant.

Why December dates get tight

Industry-wide: anyone looking for a year-end venue is generally advised to book well ahead of autumn — from October onward, popular venues fill up fast because dates, caterers, and rooms get booked in parallel. The programme itself doesn't follow the same logic: a creative workshop needs no months-long lead time, because materials, setup, and permits sit with us, not your HR department. That doesn't mean short notice is ideal. It means a tight calendar is no reason to skip the programme if the venue is already locked in.

Does our team have to host the programme itself?

No. Our guides or crew lead the session, as with the SuedLink case's two facilitators for the outdoor and indoor parts. Your team joins in, nobody has to stand up front and direct.

Does a creative workshop fit into an already booked venue, or do we need our own space?

Both work. We set up in the room of your Christmas party (office, restaurant, rented hall) or on a separate surface, depending on available space. What matters is a large enough, well-ventilated area with access for materials.
