SuedLink combined two formats in one day with 60 participants: stencils and graffiti on canvases and easels outdoors, and a prepared shared artwork with two guides indoors. The event was arranged by the agency auftrags.art, which also produced the video.
The brief
Finding a format for a group of 60 that works equally well outdoors and indoors is rarely a single technique: weather, space needs and room size make different demands in each setting, and both areas need their own, matching supervision.
How it went
Our team describes the flow like this: SuedLink's group of 60 sprayed stencils and graffiti on canvases and easels outdoors. In parallel indoors, a prepared shared artwork took shape, guided by two facilitators, using acrylic paints and pens instead of spray cans. The date was arranged by the agency auftrags.art, which also commissioned the video on site — altogether a thoroughly successful team event.
The result
By the end, two results came out of one date with 60 participants: the outdoor pieces on canvases and easels, plus the shared indoor artwork in acrylic paints and pens, guided by two facilitators. The whole thing was captured on video, professionally produced rather than just filmed on the side.
Combining two formats in one date spreads the weather risk: whatever can't happen outside keeps running inside. If you're planning to have an event filmed anyway, it's worth booking arrangement and video production from one source instead of organising them separately.

Frequently asked questions about this project
Can a graffiti team event run outdoors and indoors at the same time?
Yes, both formats can be combined in one date. At SuedLink, the group sprayed stencils and graffiti on canvases and easels outdoors, while a prepared shared artwork took shape indoors in parallel, guided by two facilitators. That splits the group and makes the event less weather-dependent.
Can a team event also be captured on video?
Yes, when an agency co-produces the event, as auftrags.art did for SuedLink. The agency arranged the date and commissioned the video directly on site. For your planning, that means: video production can be combined with event arrangement from a single source.
