That is exactly where action painting starts with us: guided enough that a picture comes out at the end instead of tipping into brown, and free enough that everyone does what they want. As a company event that means no run sheet to sign off before you book.
Anyone who has done a team event where everyone stands in a circle and plays guided games knows the feeling: grown adults treated like they are back in school. With us, that pressure falls away and the painting stays.
Nobody paints from A to Z here. There is no template, no set order, no „first red, then blue“. A guide accompanies the group so paint, surface and tool fit together. The decision of what ends up on the canvas stays with you. From €79 per person, net. The larger the group, the lower the price per head.

The craft
Behind the free painting sits material behaviour that decides the result. Three rules make sure a picture stands at the end instead of a brown blotch:
Wax does not take paint. Anyone who works with a wax crayon before the paint goes on keeps that area free. No matter how many layers come on top later, the spot stays clear. Patterns appear this way without anyone needing to be able to paint.
Spray paint cracks on fresh acrylic. If the acrylic layer underneath has not fully cured, spraying over it creates a craquelé effect: fine cracks that make the picture look years old. Anyone who has seen it once never paints without this trick again.
Paint dosing is the real craft. Too much paint at once runs together and turns dark green to brown: the moment a picture becomes a mess of colour. The guide steps in right before that happens, not after.
These three rules are why guided does not mean restricted with us. The guide takes care of the material, you take care of the decisions.

How an action painting team event in Frankfurt runs
We don't talk much, we get to work early. We barely interfere with your pictures: the result should come from your hand, not ours.
A session runs two to three hours, and the order makes the difference: if everyone paints at once, the colours run into each other and turn brown. That is why your piece grows in layers, with short breaks in between. What that means for your group is laid out step by step below.
If you do not have a location yet, we suggest a surface we have worked on before. The booking still stays with you, and the same goes for side programme and drinks. We come to your own rooms as soon as you provide the surface.
On site our team covers the area with protective material, and we take liability for it. If a spot gets messy, we leave that area out. No need to change clothes: gloves and a poncho are enough.
The guide first explains the materials: spray paint, wax crayon, acrylic, lacquer. Spray paint cracks open on acrylic that's still wet, which creates a crackle effect. That's why the piece ends up layer on layer.
A guide splits the group into small units, one guide per 50 participants. Whoever is not at the canvas takes on a small two-by-two task, and the guide decides who paints when.
The piece grows in layers that need to dry before the next colour goes on: one group paints, waits, then the next one follows. The drying time in between is part of the technique, not idle time.
Whether everyone takes home their own piece or you work on one shared piece is your call when booking. With a shared piece, the layers build directly on top of each other.
At the end we clean up and the surface goes back the way it was. Whatever was created belongs to you from that moment on; nothing is shipped afterwards. You take your pieces with you right away.

What remains at the end
Both options work. If everyone takes something home, you do not know beforehand which piece you get. At some dates the finished pictures are handed out at random after painting, including the white edge left by the masking tape, which works like a mount. The element of chance is part of the fun then.
If you would rather have one shared work, you get a large-format piece for the reception or the office. As a suggestion: three single pieces framed side by side carry more than one picture alone. That is an idea, not a promise of service: framing and hanging are not something we do.
Indoors or outdoors
Whether you paint indoors or outdoors, you decide before the date based on space, weather and preferred location, and the two options differ in materials, surface and what happens to the pieces at the end.
If you paint indoors
The weather forecast plays no part in choosing the date, the room sets the frame. Indoors we usually work with acrylic; lacquer and spray cans are possible as well, but only in large, open or well-ventilated rooms. That stays the exception, not a general rule for every indoor space.
You paint on canvas and paper. We cover the floor and are liable for the protection we provide; the choice of tools follows the risk of mess. Accessibility depends on the chosen space, not on the format. Let us know and we look for an accessible room. The canvases are yours and go home with you, we do not frame or deliver them later.
If you paint outdoors
The date is planned around the weather forecast, because lacquer is used outdoors as well and the surface is in the open. Outdoors, acrylic and lacquer are standard, with no conditions attached to the space. On legal outdoor walls we cover the area and are liable for the protection, and here too the choice of tools follows the risk of mess on the surface.
Courtyards, terraces or open spaces at your Frankfurt site work well outdoors, as do legal outdoor walls. We obtain the permit for a legal wall ourselves. A mural on a public wall stays where it is; instead you get the drone shot, and here too there is no transport or later delivery from us.
If you need a fixed date regardless of the weather and bring your own room, indoor is the better choice: acrylic is always available, lacquer and spray cans only in large, well-ventilated rooms. If you want the full range of materials or a mural on a legal outdoor surface, outdoor suits you better, but you then plan the date around the forecast and clarify the surface in advance. For 15 to 500 people
Whether a department round or a company party: we plan from 15 participants up to 500, with one guide for every 50 people. That keeps the supervision close even with large groups, instead of getting lost in the crowd.

How you pay
There are two routes: book directly in the shop, or an invoice to your accounts department. In both cases payment falls due before the date, and that is the rule with us.
If something gets in the way
Up to 30 days before you cancel free of charge, after that the full sum falls due. If the weather turns in Frankfurt, that only decides the format: action painting keeps running indoors, the graffiti workshop at the legal wall moves to a new date.
What is already included
Materials, guidance, set-up and take-down sit inside the price, along with travel to Frankfurt. For a legal wall we might use we obtain the permit, at no extra charge.
What does a team event in Frankfurt cost?
A team event in Frankfurt starts at €79 per person net, and small groups sit at €129.
The price per head falls as the group grows, and that is plain arithmetic. Travel to Frankfurt, setup and crew happen once, whether twelve are spraying or two hundred. Two hundred spread the same fixed costs across more shoulders. The price includes travel, transport of all materials, all the paint, protective covers and guidance from our people on site. For a legal wall we might use we obtain the permit, at no extra charge. The only thing you pay for is the location, if you do not have one. Graffiti workshops are billed from 10 people, Action Painting from 15; smaller teams are welcome and pay the amount for that starting number. All figures are net, plus 19% VAT. Up to 30 days before the date you cancel free of charge, after that the full sum falls due. We answer your enquiry within 24 hours with a concrete quote.
Where can you hold a team event in Frankfurt?
In Frankfurt we work at three documented locations, plus anywhere your team has rooms of its own.
In Frankfurt we have already painted in the atrium of the trade fair at Helaba's Future Summit, at the DB headquarters near the main station and at SuedLink. Each date picked its location depending on the group and the weather. If you already have a space in mind, tell us at the enquiry and we check whether it works. If not, an empty office floor, an inner courtyard or a rented event space will do, as long as there is room, a surface that holds and power. We handle the permit for the space ourselves, you only book and pay for the venue itself. Whether your date is called a company outing or a corporate event changes nothing here. If you are unsure whether your space works, attach a photo to the enquiry. Then we settle it beforehand rather than on the day.
What do you do in Frankfurt in bad weather?
Bad weather does not cancel a date in Frankfurt, it only decides whether you work at a wall or under glass.
The covered route runs through a rented indoor space with room, a surface that holds and power: your own office floor, a hall or a rented studio. Indoors the forecast does not decide the date, because there is no forecast to check. The second route runs through the format: graffiti on a wall is always an outdoor format, action painting on canvas runs indoors as well as outdoors. In practice that means: tell us at the enquiry whether your date can move. If it cannot, we pick a format from the start that needs no forecast. If it can, we hold the outdoor option open and come back to you as soon as the forecast is reliable.
