Graffiti in Frankfurt: legal walls in the Ostend for teams

Search for graffiti in Frankfurt and you soon end up in the Ostend. By Ratswegkreisel lies the Hall of Fame, one of the largest surfaces in the city where spraying is legal. Comdeo, 360T, Nestlé's legal team and Bimi have sprayed there with us. This article covers which walls exist, what is allowed and how a team turns it into an afternoon.

The Hall of Fame at Ratswegkreisel

The wall at Ratswegkreisel is huge, single pieces there stretch up to 50 metres. The scene has known it as a Hall of Fame for years, and sprayers still report it as legal and safe. For a team that means a real wall in a real setting, not a workshop room with foil on the floor.

360T shows how big it can get. With 50 people they created a 50-metre 3D piece with blocks and colourful transitions, the lettering read TEAM AWESOME. Some stood on ladders for the upper rows, and there were A3 sheets to take home. Comdeo came with 10 people and also painted a 3D piece with blocks. For Nestlé and Bimi we captured the finished piece by drone.

More legal walls in the Ostend

Ratswegkreisel is not the only address. At Schwedlerweg in the Ostend another wall has been officially open for spraying since autumn 2022, and the Naxos grounds on Wittelsbacher Allee have legal spray surfaces around the youth work studio. For company teams we plan at Ratswegkreisel, because larger groups can work side by side on one surface there.

How a team graffiti at Ratswegkreisel runs

First the group sets the motif with the guide, and everyone gets their own section. After a short briefing on cans and distance you take over the wall, step by step, until one shared piece stands. Nobody needs prior experience. We get the permit and bring the cans, stencils and protection. The price drops with group size: EUR 129 per person net up to 15 people, EUR 109 up to 25, EUR 99 up to 50, EUR 89 up to 100 and EUR 79 from 101 people. Graffiti on a wall is an outdoor format: if it rains, we reschedule or you switch to action painting indoors.
