Company outing in Frankfurt: ideas with a result, not guesswork

Deutsche Bahn did not leave its own Frankfurt headquarters near the main station for its outing. Around 35 to 40 people mixed action painting and street art there for three hours, with a film about Banksy running in the background. No coach, no overnight stay, no programme booklet.

1. Half a day is enough if the programme has a result

A session takes two to three hours and fits as an afternoon into a working day. The order makes the difference: first you work on the wall or canvas, then you head off to eat. The outing needs no coach, because it happens where you already are or can get to quickly.

2. Ideas nearby: Ratswegkreisel and your own building

The Hall of Fame by Ratswegkreisel in the Ostend is one of the largest legal graffiti surfaces in the city, single pieces there stretch up to 50 metres. We obtain the permit ourselves. If you would rather not travel, stay in the building: with action painting we come to your office or courtyard, as we did for Deutsche Bahn. 3. Big or small: the same wall carries both

360T came to Ratswegkreisel with 50 people and painted a 50-metre 3D piece, some of them on ladders for the upper rows. Comdeo came to the same wall with 10 people. Graffiti runs from 10 to 1,000 people, action painting from 15 to 500. Large groups get more wall and more stations, not a different process.

4. Summer outdoors, winter with a format switch

In summer the outing belongs at the wall. Graffiti is an outdoor format and stays outside, covered if needed, for example under a roof, a bridge or in a courtyard. If you want to be somewhere warm in winter, switch to action painting with acrylic on canvas indoors. 5. What remains at the end is the reason for the outing

With graffiti the piece stays on the wall until someone paints over it, and you take the photos with you. For Nestlé we captured the finished piece by drone. At 360T there were also A3 sheets to take home. With action painting the canvases go home with you.

6. Price and tax allowance are clear before booking

The price tiers are EUR 129 per person for 10 to 15 people, EUR 109 up to 25, EUR 99 up to 50, EUR 89 up to 100 and EUR 79 from 101, net plus 19% VAT; from 251 people we price individually. Travel, materials, supervision and the permit for the wall are included, food and space you book separately. The graffiti workshop stays outside, at a covered spot if needed. If you want to be safe indoors, plan action painting on canvas in your own rooms from the start.
