Graffiti
At the Hall of Fame wall at Bahnwärter Thiel you spray on a legal wall, and we obtain the permit ourselves. If your date has to be weatherproof, you move to a covered spot outdoors or shift the date. For a weatherproof date there is action painting, which also runs indoors; graffiti stays outside at the wall.
Action Painting
Action painting needs no wall, only space. GKM took the large greenhouse at the Botanikum for it: barefoot on grass, drinks beside them, paint on canvas instead of on render. A glass roof sits over all of it, which is exactly why this date does not hang on the forecast, only on your calendar.
The glass roof takes the forecast out of your planning, so a November date books as easily as one in July.
Street Art Tour
The tour runs through the city, guided by an app. You go at your own pace, stop in front of the pieces that interest you, and need nobody walking in front. Because nothing has to be set up and nothing carried, it fits before or after a Munich seminar day whose calendar is already full.

Six real Munich dates, with location, size, and the logistics behind them.
GKM moved their summer day to the Botanikum, into the large greenhouse with its grass floor. The work happened barefoot, with action painting, graffiti and abstract painting running side by side. What came out of it were individual graffiti pieces at 50×70 and five larger works, one per department. Those pieces hang in the office today as decoration.
At Cloudflare, the team sprayed the legal wall at Bahnwärter Thiel on a summer day while a drone circled over the forecourt. When the last can went down, the date tipped from work into celebration: a breakdance performance ran in front of the finished graffiti.
At CRX Markets, the team members designed the letters of the lettering one by one, each in their own handwriting. Out of many single parts came one word on the wall at Bahnwärter Thiel. The artwork can be reused digitally, for instance in an email signature.
In December 2024, Personio split roughly 60 people into six teams at Bahnwärter Thiel. Each team brainstormed its own word and sprayed it themselves, so all six could work the wall at once instead of standing around while one group painted.
Ruby Hotels turned an evening into one continuous plan: dinner at La Favela first, then 40 people kept painting at Bahnwärter Thiel until 9:30pm, almost into the dark. What went up on the wall was the lettering RubyVerse.
In May 2023, T.con turned a single lunch break in the Werksviertel into a 40-square-metre communal graffiti piece, the whole group working one surface instead of splitting into small formats. Each person also took home a small painted paper.

For groups smaller than nine or ten we do not accept an enquiry, because the setup does not carry itself. All figures are net, plus 19% VAT. Where can you hold a team event in Munich?
In Munich we work at three documented locations, plus anywhere your team has rooms of its own.
The first is the legal Hall of Fame wall at Bahnwärter Thiel on Tumblinger Straße in the Schlachthofviertel. That is where anything large and permanent on a wall comes about, and Cloudflare and CRX Markets sprayed there. The second is the large greenhouse at the Botanikum, where GKM painted barefoot on grass. It is the counter-proposal, because a glass roof takes the weather question out of the planning. The third is the Werksviertel, where we offer graffiti workshops. That leaves the fourth option: we come to you. An empty office floor, an inner courtyard or an underground car park will do, if there is space, a surface that holds and power. Whether your date is called a company outing or a corporate event changes nothing here. If you are unsure whether your space works, attach a photo to the enquiry. Then we settle it beforehand rather than on the day.
What do you do in Munich in bad weather?
Bad weather does not cancel a date in Munich, it only decides whether you work at a wall or under glass.
For the covered route there is one documented location: the large greenhouse at the Botanikum. GKM spent a whole summer day there, barefoot on grass, with action painting, graffiti and abstract painting side by side. A glass roof over a lawn looks like outdoors and behaves like indoors, and that is exactly what takes the forecast out of your planning. The second route runs through the format: graffiti on a wall is always an outdoor format, while action painting on canvas runs indoors as well as outdoors. Action painting works both ways in any case. In practice that means: tell us at the enquiry whether your date can move. If it cannot, we pick a format from the start that needs no forecast. If it can, we hold the wall open and come back to you as soon as the forecast is reliable.
